We currently employ 11veterinary surgeons and 20 support staff.

Mrs Heather McKie - Practice Manager

I have worked as a receptionist at the surgery since 2002, having lived in the area all my life, excluding four years studying Animal Science at Stirling University and the Scottish Agricultural College, Auchincruive. I am married to a local farmer and enjoy helping out on the farm and have a keen interest in all aspects of lural life.

I currently work part time, well at the practice. When I go home my 18 month old twin boys, Logan and Archie keep me busy! If I have any free time I like to spend it outdoors, in the garden, on the farm or walking! I also enjoy socialising and drinking Vodka – hence my cat’s name “Smirnoff”. Although since the arrival of the boys I can’t cope with the hangovers like I used to!p>

Mrs Mandy Davidson - Receptionist

Hi my name is Mandy. I started with the practice in June 2009, and have lived in the local area all of my life, now near Wigtown. I am the long suffering mother of two teenage boys, Stuart and Euan, but thankfully I have two dogs, Tilly and Coco who take me walking in the hills to de-stress.
