We currently employ 5 veterinary surgeons and 5 support staff.

Mrs Heather McKie - Office Manager

I have worked as a receptionist at the surgery since 2002, having lived in the area all my life, excluding four years studying Animal Science at Stirling University and the Scottish Agricultural College, Auchincruive. I am now married to a local farmer and enjoy helping out on the farm.

Most of my free time is currently spent in the garden of my shiny new house which currently resembles a building site! I also enjoy socialising and drinking Vodka – hence my cat’s name “Smirnoff”. Life is about to change in a massive way I suspect, with the expected arrival of my first TWO babies in March 2010. That means I will have THREE helpless humans to look after,so I am currently trying enjoying life while still able to get around.

Mrs Mandy Davidson - Receptionist

Hi my name is Mandy. I started with the practice in June 2009, and have lived in the local area all of my life, now near Wigtown. I am the long suffering mother of two teenage boys, Stuart and Euan, but thankfully I have two dogs, Tilly and Coco who take me walking in the hills to de-stress.
